Role Overview
As the Front Office Manager, you will be the driving force behind delivering
exceptional guest experiences from the moment before guests arrive to the time they depart.
You’ll lead the front office team with passion and professionalism, ensuring that every
interaction reflects our commitment to sustainability, mindfulness, and nature-inspired
hospitality.
This role combines leadership with hands-on involvement in daily operations to
uphold the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities
● Oversee all front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and guest inquiries,
ensuring seamless and personalized service.
● Greet guests warmly and handle escalated issues or special requests with
professionalism and care.
● Manage reservation requests with the team
● Manage OTA channel requirements (information update, messages, correct photos, etc.)
● Manage FAM trip and press stay itineraries through the Front Office team
● Actively monitor guest feedback, addressing concerns promptly and implementing
improvements where needed.
● Collaborate with other departments to create cohesive, memorable guest experiences.
● Lead, train, and motivate the front office team to provide exceptional service in line with
the hotel's philosophy.
● Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and guest feedback.
● Develop staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak and off-peak periods.
● Foster a supportive and positive team environment, encouraging growth and
development.
● Ensure accurate and efficient management of reservations, billing, and guest records.
● Collaborate with the General Manager to optimize room occupancy and revenue.
● Implement and uphold hotel policies, procedures, and sustainability practices at the front
desk.
● Proficiently use the Property Management System (PMS) to manage reservations, guest
profiles, and reporting.
● Train team members in the effective use of PMS and other front office tools.
● Ensure all systems and equipment are maintained and functioning properly.
Qualifications
● Proven experience in a similar leadership role within a luxury or boutique hotel
environment.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to connect with
guests and team members.
● A proactive, problem-solving mindset with excellent organizational skills.
● Passion for hospitality, sustainability, and creating meaningful guest experiences.
● Excellent Greek and English skills
● Car ownership and ability to drive to work
● Ideally but not necessary, German or French language skills
