Role Overview

The Retail Store Assistant Manager / Sales Associate plays a dual role, combining elevated client service with operational and team support responsibilities. This position is instrumental in ensuring the seamless day-to-day running of the boutique, while delivering a high-touch, experiential retail journey aligned with Anthologist’s philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, personalized customer service, elevating the in-store experience through storytelling and product knowledge

• Act as a brand ambassador, representing Anthologist both within the store and in external interactions

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening/closing procedures and workflow coordination

• Assist in guiding, motivating, and supporting team members to achieve sales targets and service excellence

• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented mindset

• Build, manage, and maintain a strong customer database, fostering long-term client relationships

• Contribute to the planning and execution of in-store and local events

• Ensure visual merchandising standards and overall store presentation align with brand and hotel guidelines

• Monitor stock levels, oversee inventory processes, and ensure proper product rotation and availability

• Analyze store performance and contribute insights and action plans to improve results

• Review sales reports and suggest merchandising or operational improvements

• Create and support content for social media, reflecting the brand’s aesthetic and storytelling approach

• Ensure full compliance with store SOPs and alignment with hotel policies

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in retail; experience in luxury retail or hospitality is highly desirable

• Previous exposure to supervisory or team support responsibilities is a strong plus

• Strong understanding of high-end customer service and experiential retail

• Analytical thinking with good command of MS Office and social media platforms

• Fluent in English; Greek or additional languages will be considered an asset

• Own transportation (car or equivalent) is required
