About the Role

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Engineering Coordinator to support the Technical Services department of a prestigious 5-star hotel in Athens. Reporting directly to the Chief Engineer, this role is essential to ensuring smooth internal operations, accurate project tracking, and effective cross-departmental communication. The ideal candidate will combine strong administrative capabilities with a technical mindset, supporting both daily operations and long-term departmental initiatives.

How You Will Contribute

• Perform all administrative and secretarial duties for the Engineering Department.
• Act as the primary liaison between Engineering and other hotel departments.
• Assist in the implementation and tracking of Fire Life & Safety (FLS) procedures under the guidance of the Chief Engineer.
• Maintain accurate personnel records for Engineering staff.
• Support the allocation of duties to engineering team members and external contractors, following direction from the hotel management.
• Oversee the coordination and documentation of departmental training and development activities.
• Organize and maintain departmental reports, schedules (rotas), and key records.
• Participate in simple ad hoc technical or renovation projects, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
• Serve as an active member of the hotel’s emergency response team.
• Ensure compliance with all hotel operating procedures and standards.

What You Need to Succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in engineering administration, facility coordination, or maintenance operations—experience in hospitality is a plus.
• Excellent command of MS Office.
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and their operation is considered an asset.
• Strong coordination, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively across departments and with external partners.
• Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to attend training and participate actively in safety and emergency procedures.
